lord yabol Very OSDM-y feel, lots of melodicity, great drum sound and dope guitarwork, invoking what feels like teutonic thrash in some of the passages and riffs. A number of second wave-like moments only work in the EP's favor. Also, that bass fucking rips.

Will definitely keep an eye on where this band goes in the future. Favorite track: Drumul Blestemat.

Zoli The great Phoenix cover alone (Strunga) is worth it! It is both a blasphemy and a great cover! Favorite track: Strunga.

This is gorgeous death/doom which fits the World War I theme perfectly! The aggressive death metal parts symbolize the crushing brutality of the Great War, while the doom metal passages stand for the quiet desperation of the trenches, there are also some movies sample sprinkled in which makes the album a real experience. PSA: if there was an album you heard a couple years ago and thought it was ok, listen to it again and you might love it. That's what happened to me with this album. I cannot fathom why it didn't stick with me back then. Same thing happened with Decoherence's Unitarity for that matter. Matten
