This is gorgeous death/doom which fits the World War I theme perfectly! The aggressive death metal parts symbolize the crushing brutality of the Great War, while the doom metal passages stand for the quiet desperation of the trenches, there are also some movies sample sprinkled in which makes the album a real experience.
